Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the winners of the Salem Garden Club Scholarship.  This year Cristina Capra and Amber Wise Robbins, both Salem High School graduates, will receive $1000 each.  Cristina will be attending Unity College in Maine where she will major in Environmental Science.  At SHS she participated in READ Trust Science Research Internship and Freight Farm as well as various other extracurricular activities.  She has also assisted Green Space in creating a sustainable garden in Salem which has lead Cristina to consider concentrating in Sustainable Agriculture.   Amber will attend Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and will major in Marine Biology.  She hopes to become a Marine Life Researcher.  Amber was active in the Salem High Marching Band as well as the Winter Color Guard.  She is a Personal Care Attendant to a child with medical needs.
