The Scholarship Committee of the Salem Garden Club is pleased to announce the recipient of the SGC $1000 scholarship. Victoria Kapantais is a 2018 graduate of Salem High School. She will be attending the University of New Hampshire and studying Environmental Engineering. Shown here is Victoria receiving her award from Joyce Wallace at the awards ceremony on August 9th.

Applications for the Salem Garden Club $1000 scholarship must be received by May 1st of the current year for consideration. Any high school senior, graduate, or current college student, who is a resident of Salem and who will be pursuing (or is currently pursuing) further education in one or more of the following areas of study: Horticulture, Floriculture, Ecology, Botany, Geography, Earth Science, Land Management/Design, Conservation, Environmental Science or another allied field is encouraged to apply.

Recipients of the Salem Garden Club Scholarship must meet the following requirements:

  • Student must be a Salem resident
  • Student will be pursuing (or is currently pursuing further education in one of the fields listed above or a related field)
  • Application must be completed and submitted and mailed to:
